Hello from Victoria, B.C. As a retired ex-television
director, used to looking over the shoulder of editors on
Steenbecks for a lot of years, now doing volunteer video
productions, hands on, it took me a while to learn the
different language, but apart from that, your book has been
very helpful. I'm still playing with iMovie even though I
have FCP loaded on my laptop. When are you coming out with
an updated version of "The Missing Manual" for iMovie 3? And can it be ordered directly from you, as Canadian
distribution lags behind a month or so?

Yes, absolutely!
In fact, I'm already hard at work on the next three Missing Manuals,
which should pretty well cover the Apple iLife suite:
- iMovie 3 & iDVD: The Missing Manual by David Pogue
- iPhoto 2: The Missing Manual by David Pogue, Joseph Schorr, and
Derrick Story
- iPod: The Missing Manual (including iTunes 3) by J.D. Biersdorfer
We're hoping to release all three books in April, although the shipping
date sometimes slips as a result of exhaustion, taking showers, or
desire to have dinner with my kids. :)
