I'm using your book iMovie: The Missing Manual to help edit video tape from my camcorder with no previous experience. Your book has been extremely useful. I couldn't have done it just using the cumbersome Help menu from Apple. I had trouble using the preview for transitional effects. They seem to not do what they should in the preview, but I finally found I could just *do* the transitions, which worked OK. I could just "clear" if the effect was not right.

Also, this site of yours with the missing CD stuff is beautifully laid out. It is clear and compact. Would that more sites were as straightforward and simple to read.
